Where is hindi going.....

Where is “Hindi”? This is really a very big question today. Have it lost its place of most spoken language in India or the people don’t know the importance of our national language. It’s not like that we should not know or use other language but at the same time we should also not ignore our own language which is HINDI.
I personally know some people who does not know Hindi but other languages and also don’t feel that they should know it. Some people don’t even respect it. All they care for is English. People start teaching their child English from the age of 4 – 6 but don’t even care that they are learning their national language or not. Our social life has got divided according to the people’s  spoken language now. If someone don’t know English or prefer to speak Hindi then the English spoken people ( like to call them standard people) say them low standard or people with no class.  But I don’t think that speaking our own language other then others is having no class. Its necessary to know English but one should use that only when it is needed, not everywhere to show off. Visit any book store or outlet and look for some Hindi books. Either you will not get it or you will find a self in some corner of the shop, but if you will look around you will find all the self full of the books written in English and some other languages. Once there was writers like Munsi Premchand , Sarat Chandra chattopadhyay and others  who gave so much to Hindi but today no one knows a single writers name who writes In Hindi. Its not like we have not enough talent, but either they are afraid of writing due to the situation or if some writes they don’t reach to the people. I don’t understand this. Do the people of England, America or other countries learn our language or if they do so, do they use it every time. Then why should we do?
Hindi is gone like a prisoner in his own house. Who is responsible for this? It’s a big question. But we should do whatever we can do for improving the situation. After all it’s our culture and we should protect it…..!
    हमारी  राष्ट्रभाषा,हमारी संस्कृति धीरे धीरे कहीं गुम होती जा रही है.
Now its our responsibility to protect and fight for this…….
जय हिन्द, जय हिन्दी………….
